Sherwin Siy is Vice President of Legal Affairs at Public Knowledge, where he coordinates the organization's legal work, specializing in emerging copyright issues. Since joining Public Knowledge in 2006, he has represented Public Knowledge in friend-of-the-court briefs, proceedings before Congress and administrative agencies, in international forums, and in a variety of public speaking engagements. He has appeared in national print and broadcast media, advocating for balanced copyright laws and increased access to knowledge, communications, and information. Sherwin received his JD with a Certificate in Law and Technology from the UC Berkeley School of Law.
