Comments in Support of AT&T Grandfathering And Technology Transition Application

Public Knowledge filed comments in support of AT&T’s application to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to grandfather and discontinue their legacy voice service as part of a broader transition to the deployment of its AT&T Phone, Advanced (AP-A). The comments also call for AT&T to make regular reports as to the progress of the transition, to keep the FCC and the public informed, as well as laying a guide for other networks to follow in future upgrades.
