Public Knowledge joined a coalition of 14 public interest and advocacy groups urging the Senate Armed Services Committee leadership to support S.Amdt.3186 to S.2296, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026. The amendment would promote the procurement of secure communications technology to protect service members and sensitive information from cyberattacks, and set mandatory security standards for Pentagon communications software.
