TikTok Amicus Brief

Public Knowledge joined the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), the Center for Democracy and Technology (CDT) and others in filing an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court in support of the plaintiffs in TikTok, et al. v. Garland and Firebaugh, et al. v. Garland. The brief urges the Court to prevent the enforcement of the “Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act” over its infringement on free expression under the First Amendment.
