    Get Involved Today

Public Knowledge has the pleasure of inviting you to a multifaceted program focused on training and developing the next generation of tech policy experts and public interest advocates that reflects the diversity of voices and experiences in our society.

Please join us for our monthly Career Breakfast Series. This event is designed specifically for students and recent graduates of color, offering insights into tech policy and public interest careers, and providing a platform for individuals from underrepresented backgrounds. This time, you will have the opportunity to have a great conversation with Chanelle Hardy.

After college, Chanelle Hardy taught 5th graders in her home city as a member of the Washington, DC Teach for America corps, and that experience has shaped her career.  Her passion for students and their families led her to a career in law and policy.  She held leadership roles on Capitol Hill, at the National Urban League, and the FCC, before joining the Google policy team.

As Google’s Head of Public Policy Stakeholder Engagement, she serves as a trusted strategic advisor to internal and external leaders across issues of tech, policy, and civil rights. She leads the Google Next Gen Leaders program – an initiative she founded to support emerging tech policy leaders.

She serves on various boards and councils, including the Teach for America National Board and the advisory councils of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, UnidosUS, the National Urban League, and the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights.

Join us at the Gathering Spot on Aug. 1st at 8.30 AM to hear more.

This is a private event. However, if you know someone who would be interested in attending, please email michele@publicknowledge.org.
