Please join us for our monthly Career Breakfast Series. This event is designed specifically for students and recent graduates of color, offering insights into tech policy and public interest careers, and providing a platform for individuals from underrepresented backgrounds. This time, you will have the opportunity to have a great conversation with Anisa Green.
Anisa Green brings more than 27 years of deep experience across regulatory policy, advocacy, and legal affairs. Based in AT&T’s Washington, D.C. office, she serves on the External & Legislative Affairs Federal Regulatory team, where she leads on universal service, deregulation, affordability, digital equity, and key wireless policy matters. She also serves as Chief of Staff to the Senior Vice President and Chief Regulatory Officer, providing strategic counsel and operational leadership at the highest levels of the organization. She was appointed to serve on the Universal Service Administrative Company Board of Directors, providing leadership and guidance in USAC’s administration of universal service.
Throughout her career, Anisa has cultivated a broad and influential network across the telecommunications, media, and technology sectors. Her professional journey reflects a deep expertise in designing policy strategy, technical knowledge, a long-standing commitment to mentorship, sponsorship, and community engagement. She is known for her humility, candor, and perspective, all of which guide her work with emerging leaders and her support for programs that expand opportunity and access.
Anisa is an active champion of organizations dedicated to empowering youth, women, and historically marginalized communities. Her involvement includes serving as an active member of the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA), on the Genesys Works National Capital Region Board of Advisors, volunteering as a mentor for Crittenton, Junior Achievement, the NETwork Black Integrated Communications Professionals, and Women of AT&T and Women in Technology, Women in Cable Telecommunications events, among many others. She also founded her own personal styling and event planning business, helping people feel confident, celebrated, and authentically themselves.
A native of Brooklyn, NY, with family roots in the West Indies, Anisa earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Communication from George Washington University. She is also a certified paralegal and has completed numerous continuing legal education courses to strengthen her expertise in the TMT regulatory landscape. Outside of work, she treasures time spent with her family and enjoys shopping, reading, watching a good movie, or taking a long walk or ride through the city.
