Public Knowledge is pleased to announce the promotion of Nat Purser, formerly a Government Affairs Policy Advocate, to Senior Policy Advocate for her work championing consumers on Capitol Hill.
Ms. Purser’s advocacy portfolio will grow from broadband access, broadband affordability, and spectrum policy to also include artificial intelligence. Prior to joining Public Knowledge, Ms. Purser served as a Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR) Fellow on Capitol Hill. She previously worked on competition, content moderation, and net neutrality policy at Yelp and in the Michigan legislature. She received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of North Georgia.
The following may be attributed to Public Knowledge President & CEO Chris Lewis:
“Nat Purser continues to demonstrate tremendous policy knowledge and political savvy in her work at Public Knowledge. Her talent as an advocate is enhanced by her personal drive and broad network among policymakers. We are proud to increase her responsibilities and continue to promote Nat in our organization. I am confident that she will create new opportunities for the advancement of public interest values in the rapidly moving policy around artificial intelligence, just as she has done for our work on broadband and spectrum policy.”
