This is an apology for the regrettable things I said about George Ou two weeks ago. It's bothered me ever since, and last week I asked George to accept my apology and he graciously accepted.
A technologist's stock in trade are the facts and I crossed a line by personalizing it. George is not only a technologist, but a writer, so naturally he is going to have his own favored sources. All scientists consider the work of others, and adopt positions that they themselves find sound.
In the future, I'll remember that.
