I'm still trying to track down details of the event, but according to Braden Cox's post on The Technology Liberation Front, Commissioner Tate praised the use of DRM and apparently, despite the failure of the broadcast flag, said she'd be using her position to bring awareness to the issue.
Funny, I thought the FCC didn't have the jurisdiction to handle issues of copyright?
Again, you can find more details from the Tech Liberation post, and I'm hoping to find some more details on the event (if you have any, please let me know).
