    • France's premier soccer league and its tennis federation are suing YouTube for allowing users to post clips of its shows.

    • The FCC fined three stations a total of $31,000 for violating children's TV regulations. One station had not complied with advertising limits during children's programming; the other two had failed to advertise their children's programming public file

    • the FCC released its prototype digital-to-analog converter that will make TV's with antennas compatible with new Digital TV signals.

    • The Cato institute has a response to Tim Wu's 'Wireless Net Neutrality' paper:

      “Given how slowly the regulatory process moves–and the goal of unregulated, unsubsidized competition–it would be premature and counterproductive for the FCC to step in now. Any rules the FCC promulgates are likely to be rendered irrelevant by relentless technological progress.”
