Public Knowledge submitted a joint ex parte filing to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Secretary Dorthy alongside Beeper and outside counsel to Reset.tech following a meeting with Hannah Lepow, Legal Advisor for Media and Consumer Protection, and Shiva Goel from FCC Commissioner Starks’ office. The meeting was to inform the Commission about how Beeper’s product Beeper Mini works following Apple blocking its interoperability with Apple devices, as highlighted in the antitrust lawsuit towards Apple by the Department of Justice announced in March 2024.
