Public Knowledge will host a press briefing at 11 a.m. Nov. 13 to discuss the results of broadband market reports conducted by independent researcher John Horrigan and CTC Technology and Energy, a consultancy.
The briefing will focus on how consumers do not view mobile internet as a substitute for home broadband and demonstrate the difficulty they face in switching providers. It will also cover the technological advantages of cable and fiber over other broadband technologies. Additionally, we will discuss the significance of this data to ongoing net neutrality and merger debates.
