    Public Knowledge President and Co-Founder Gigi B. Sohn announced the following additions to the organization’s staff.

    Brooke Rae-Hunter is the director of development. She has extensive experience in the field, having been a senior manager for development at the American Film Institute, as well as having development responsibilities at the Media Access Project and Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington. She is a 1999 graduate of Loyola University, New Orleans, and holds a Masters of Fine Arts degree from Antioch University in Los Angeles, which she received in 2006.

    Adam Thomas joins the organization as a staff attorney. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and the Federal Communications Bar Association. He received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh Law School in 2008 and an undergraduate degree from Bates College in 2002. He has been a communications law fellow at Free Press and a legal intern with the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

    Michael Weinberg joins Public Knowledge as a law clerk. He received his law degree in 2009 from George Washington University Law School, and graduated in 2004 from Claremont McKenna College. He served as a legal intern for Public Knowledge from 2007-2009.

    “I am pleased to welcome Brooke, Adam and Michael. I expect all will make major contributions to helping us achieve our goals in telecommunications and copyright policy,” Sohn said.
