Note: The Obama Administration was required to appoint an Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator (a so-called “IP Czar”) by Sec. 301 of the Prioritizing Resources and Organization for Intellectual Property Act of 2008, which was signed into law by then-President Bush on Oct. 13, 2008.
