Cedric is the Government Affairs Policy Advocate at Public Knowledge focusing on government affairs strategy, through advocacy, strategy development, and relationship building across the public interest field.
Prior to joining Public Knowledge, Cedric was a legislative assistant and press secretary on Capitol Hill. Afterwards, he was a research analyst for the U.S. Department of Energy. In each position, he conducted policy analysis on federal legislation and maintained a broad range of external oversight while analyzing interagency, nongovernmental, and academia policy.
Cedric received his M.A. in Public Policy from Howard University, M.A. in Liberal Studies from Delta State University, and B.A. in Political Science from Delta State University, where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc.
Cedric is a native Mississippian who enjoys poetry, sports cars, and lofi music.
