L’Allegro Smith serves as a Government Affairs Policy Advocate at Public Knowledge. Prior to joining Public Knowledge, L’Allegro served as Director of Community and Government Relations for HeadWaters Resort & Casino and PAC and was a Legislative Assistant to Congressman Robert C. “Bobby” Scott.
L’Allegro serves as President of the Virginia Air and Space Science Center Board of Directors, the official visitor center to NASA Langley Research Center and on the City of Alexandria’s Economic Opportunities Commission. L’Allegro graduated from The College of William and Mary, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies. L’Allegro was born and raised in Hampton, Virginia and currently resides in Old Town Alexandria.
