L’Allegro Smith serves as a Government Affairs Policy Advocate at Public Knowledge, working on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Section 230 and Content Moderation.
Prior to joining Public Knowledge, L’Allegro served as a Legislative Assistant to Congressman Robert C. “Bobby” Scott and worked in the private sector, working on economic and community development.
L’Allegro serves as President of the Virginia Air and Space Science Center Board of Directors, the official visitor center to NASA Langley Research Center and on the Old Point National Bank, Southside Regional Board of Directors.
L’Allegro graduated from The College of William and Mary, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies. L’Allegro was born and raised in Hampton, Virginia and currently resides in Crystal City, Arlington.
