Communications Intern
Mezekerta is the Communications Intern for Public Knowledge. Prior to working for Public Knowledge she worked as an assistant in the Iowa House of Representatives and as a Digital Strategist Intern for multiple non-profit organizations. She is currently a senior at Beloit College majoring in Sociology and minoring in Political Science; she has earned a spot on the dean’s list every semester while working for various organizations and being involved on campus. She was born in Ethiopia, but raised in Iowa and enjoys reading poetry, watching films, and making music in her free time.
