Sara Collins is the Director of Government Affairs at Public Knowledge. She currently serves as an advisory board member for the Future of Privacy Forum, as well as a board member of the DC Abortion Fund.
Previously, Sara was a Policy Counsel on the Future of Privacy Forum’s Education & Youth Privacy team specializing in higher education and young adult issues. She has also worked as an investigations attorney in the Enforcement Unit at Federal Student Aid, as well as the Director of Legal Services for Veterans Education Success.
Sara graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2014. Originally from Chicago, Sara attended the University of Illinois, where she received a B.A. in both Political Science and English.
